A lodge from Chinese legend that glows softly between your books, with a single touch. It's inspired by the Green Luan, the azure phoenix that stands for joy, blessings and good fortune. Every piece of furniture and decoration you see is in the box, waiting to become your own little sanctuary. Build it slowly over a week of quiet evenings, then let it light up your shelf every night.
A warm glow at a touch – the LED touch switch fills the lodge with a cozy, enchanting light at night.
A story on your shelf – a scene that carries the legend of the azure phoenix, a wish for happiness in wood.
Rich in detail – wood, paper and metal pieces come together into furniture and decorations you'll keep discovering.
Your calm, unhurried ritual – a pot of tea, soft music and an evening that belongs only to you.
Rated 3 out of 5 – most makers take around 10 hours: a week of evenings or two slow weekends.
Precision laser-cut plywood – pieces fit cleanly, so the build stays a pleasure from start to finish.
Illustrated, easy-to-follow manual – every step shown clearly, so you always know what comes next.
For a birthday, Lunar New Year, a new home or a fresh start: in Chinese culture, the azure phoenix brings joy and good fortune. A meaningful gift, and a few calm evenings to go with it.

People told me I’d get addicted. I didn’t believe them. I was wrong
Very good first experience with this book nook! The result is beautiful, even though I broke one of the pieces that didn't have a spare in the box (be careful when you assemble the teapot...). You can't tell on the finished piece!
However, contrary to what the box contents description says ("All the parts, accessories and elements needed are included in the box"), the glue is not provided. Luckily a friend had some left over, but I was disappointed to find that not everything was really included.

Hello,
My third book nook, and the one that took the most work, about 10 hours. I strongly recommend using a mallet.
Delivered in two days (really).
Very good quality, nothing to complain about.
I recommend this book nook, but maybe not for a first build.
All the best,
Philippe
